Qemem [Kū-mem] translates as spice from the Tigrinya language (Ethiopia/Eritrea). Growing up my mom would make injera with African spices that enhanced any dish she'd make. The importance of spice in Ethiopia/Eritrea is what led me to my hot sauce journey. I want to recreate that same feeling of happiness that my mom did for me growing up. As I share my hot sauce I hope you can experience the same love of spice that I have in Qemem hot sauce. Our mission is to elevate flavor using natural ingredients.
